These Terms of Service govern your use of AnglerTally.
By creating an account or using AnglerTally, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
AnglerTally is operated by:

2. What AnglerTally does
AnglerTally is a Progressive Web App for fishing clubs.
It helps clubs:
- Manage anglers
- Manage venues
- Create leagues
- Add season match calendars
- Assign pegs
- Run random or manual peg draws
- Manage match sections
- Enter match weights
- Calculate results
- Calculate section winners
- Manage league tables
- Publish public results
- Save match-day drafts during poor signal
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping login details secure
- Activity carried out under your account
- Ensuring authorised people use the club account
- Telling us if you suspect unauthorised access
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
4. Club admin responsibility
Club admins are responsible for:
- The data they enter
- Ensuring they have permission to enter angler data
- Setting league rules correctly
- Checking match results before publishing
- Managing public visibility settings
- Correcting errors
- Ensuring club users follow these terms
5. Public results
If you publish match results or league tables, they may be visible publicly.
Public pages may include:
- Angler names
- Pegs
- Sections
- Weights
- Points
- Positions
- Section wins
- League standings
You are responsible for ensuring published information is suitable for public display.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Paid packages are billed according to the package selected.
Prices are shown before purchase.
Payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider.
We do not store raw card details.
You must keep payment details up to date.
If payment fails, access may be limited, suspended or cancelled.
7. Free trials
We may offer free trials.
At the end of a trial, you may need to choose a paid package to continue using paid features.
Trial length and limits may vary.
8. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription in accordance with the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically refund previous payments unless stated.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use AnglerTally to:
- Break the law
- Upload harmful or abusive content
- Harass others
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Attempt to hack or disrupt the service
- Scrape or misuse data
- Misrepresent results intentionally
- Impersonate others
- Upload malicious code
- Use the service for anything unrelated to legitimate club or match management
The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms.
10. PWA and offline mode
AnglerTally may be installed as a Progressive Web App.
Poor Signal Mode is designed to reduce the risk of losing match-day entries when internet connection is poor.
It is not a guarantee that data can never be lost.
Club admins should:
- Open match pages before arriving at venues with poor signal
- Check that data has synced before publishing
- Avoid clearing browser/app storage before syncing
- Avoid using shared devices for unsynced drafts
11. Service availability
We aim to keep AnglerTally available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
The app may be unavailable due to:
- Maintenance
- Hosting issues
- Internet outages
- Third-party provider problems
- Security incidents
- Force majeure events
12. Data accuracy
AnglerTally calculates results based on the information entered by club admins.
We are not responsible for incorrect results caused by:
- Incorrect data entry
- Incorrect league settings
- Incorrect match setup
- User error
- Club rule disputes
- Failure to review results before publishing
13. Intellectual property
AnglerTally, including its software, design, branding and content, belongs to Angler Tally or its licensors.
You retain responsibility for club data you enter into the service.
You grant us permission to process club data as needed to provide the service.
14. Third-party services
AnglerTally currently uses a small number of service providers to operate the app. These may include website/database hosting, email hosting, Stripe for payments and subscriptions, domain/DNS services, and backup services. We do not currently use a dedicated analytics provider or dedicated error monitoring provider. If this changes, this policy will be updated.
We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Loss of profits
- Loss of revenue
- Loss of goodwill
- Indirect or consequential loss
- Loss caused by user error
- Loss caused by poor internet connection
- Loss caused by third-party provider failure
- Incorrect match results caused by incorrect input or settings
Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid by you for AnglerTally in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- You breach these terms
- Payment fails
- You misuse the service
- Required by law
- Continued access creates security, legal or operational risk
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time.
If changes are significant, we will notify users in the app or by email.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction unless another law requires otherwise.
